Thank you so much for listening. Thank you for supporting me. And today, a bit of a wild headline in the title, Why Are Men So Clueless? Why Are Men So Clueless? Now, I'm not necessarily saying this. This isn't me making this claim. I've seen so many varieties of this over and over and over again nowadays online on social media. The discourse around dating is grim and there's a lot of

commentary around how men are the problem about the male loneliness epidemic, about how much men

suck and so on and so on. And, you know,

I don't do social commentary. I'm not here to say this is why. I'm not here to defend men. I'm not

here to take any side. This is a podcast about mindful reflection, about how we can form better

mindsets to navigate how we feel. But I will say if you're on the side of

feeling that men are so clueless, I think this will help. And I suppose there are some obvious

answers that anyone can throw out as to why women who date men are having so many frustrating

experiences with men. I could probably throw a bunch at you.

I could say the reason it feels, emphasis,

the reason it feels that all men are so clueless is because, you know,

a lot of men were never taught how to communicate,

were never taught how to have emotional clarity.

They were taught to perform and to impress and to win,

not necessarily to self-reflect and to articulate feelings. And then when dating requires those

things and it requires consistency and vulnerability, a lot of men fumble, a lot of men freeze, a lot of men flake.

So yeah, of course that sucks, and it can leave you with the impression that men are clueless.

But I think the practical takeaway from that is if someone wanted to figure it out for you, they would.
