romanced by Schleiker and Hindenberg. Hitler is concerned that he's being iced out or elbowed out,

but none of that is true because Schleiker has a plan that is going to solve everybody's difficulty and elbow them out of the way.

Schleiker, remember, he's Minister of Defense, or at least he believes he is, and he goes to Hindenburg to confront Hindenberg with his choices.

All I ever had all those years of reading about January 33 is for reasons that were not explained to Hindenburg offered the chancellorship to Hitler, and that was the end of democracy.

That was the end of peace in Europe.

The meeting between Schleiker and Hindenberg is far more profound to explain what's going on.
