So today, I wanted to jump right into it because today we're talking about more serious

topic, CPSD, and how it relates to codependency and identity and things like that. So if you

don't know what CPSD is, it stands for Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and it is

a more extreme form of PTSD that people who have been in sexually abusive or emotionally

abusive relationships for a long period of time or have been involved in narcissistic

abusive relationships or in their upbringing or have experienced sexual abuse or emotional

abuse in childhood. So the common thing here is that we're talking about prolonged exposure

to abuse and the reason why CPSD can develop is first and foremost because CPSD is response,

a trauma response to feeling like you have to be constantly on the defense in regards

to you as a person, your identity, and just literally living. So before I go any further,
