Hello everybody how are we all doing welcome back to maternity live you know I was thinking a lot about what I wanted to share this week and it dawned on me that I launched this podcast the day before the world went into lockdown.

And so I've been thinking a lot about just how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to share so much during this time in terms of what I'm experiencing,

how I'm handling things, and what I am most excited about actually is just kind of the overwhelming response back where so many people are just sharing with me

Not only feedback but their own stories their own journeys their own experiences and it honestly just makes me feel so happy because I'm such a big proponent of

getting things out of my head and off my chest and speaking them into existence because

I think they either one make me realize that I'm being crazy about

something or two make me feel validated and that's exactly what I set out to do with

this podcast so for the sheer fact that that's happening for other people too, just like, it literally warms the

cockles of my heart. So, thank you. Thank you all.

And secondly, you guys know that I treat every episode of maternity live like each is my own child and I've just been loving having incredible conversations with people that I really respect and admire where they all share their journey and their experience and impart their wisdom with me and with all of you and of course today is no different.

I'm so honored to have Andy Grammer who is an incredible singer, songwriter, and producer join me on maternity

live.

He and his wife just welcomed their second daughter, Israel Blue, into the world and we just really go deep on everything what it's like to have a kid during the quarantine

fatherhood and parenthood and parenthood and what his expectations were and advice he got from people across the board, how he and his

wife are doing things their way, which is something I fully wholeheartedly respect and admire

because I think, you know, I talk a lot about people in their opinions and I just love when people just do what the fuck they want to do.

And just ultimately being a working dad, being a girl dead, obviously the fact that I'm having a girl in hearing his experience raising daughters is just so special.

So I'm thrilled to be able to share that conversation with all of you. It is a really good one.

I also just wanted to remind everyone that Mother's Day is coming up and since so many of my

listeners are moms and moms to be I wanted to share with you an amazing gift

option, especially since it's so hard to see family and friends during this time.

And we know how important it is to stay in touch with those that we love now more than ever.
