Summary

How are you holding up? Are you adjusting to a new “normal”? A new way to getting up every day and doing your job, supporting your husband, and helping your kids with schoolwork? All without the usual social events and connections we are used to? These are challenging times, and it’s normal if you are feeling some worry or anxiety these days. This week, I want to help you find some peace -- even in quarantine. Here are my ideas. Snippet From the Show "Worrying is having a conversation with yourself about things you cannot change. Prayer is having a conversation with God about things he can change." For episode shownotes, text GIRLFRIENDS to 33-777 or visit AscensionPress.com (media.ascensionpress.com).

are facing and we're all having to make adjustments. It's been very challenging for many of my

Everybody is changing what they do every day.

I had a nice little setup going. I have sort of an office space in my home that really is a

spare bedroom. And now it's no longer a spare bedroom because my daughter Juliet is home from

1:41.4

college. She is online school for the rest of her school year,

1:46.5

and that's where she's doing her schoolwork. So my house is noisier than it usually is,

1:52.4

and I don't really have space. So here I am in the car. And it's fine. It's totally fine.

We had snow yesterday as recently as yesterday and there's more forecasted in the days to come. But we'll get through that. We'll get through that. How is your quarantine going? In what ways has your life changed in these past few weeks and what kinds of adjustments are you needing to make? How are you needing to adapt? Let's talk about that. Let's talk about how we can have peace. Even during this time of great anxiety, many of us are worried. Many of us are worried about our health, about the health
