Why is it so damn hard for us as men to stop watching porn?

0:12.5

And where do most men go wrong?

0:15.2

Where do most men sort of quote of a little fail at quitting porn?

0:19.3

Because the reality is it's very challenging it's very

0:23.2

hard for a lot of men to quit watching porn and i was one of those men it took me years to stop

0:31.1

watching porn now admittedly i probably watched porn a little more than the average right i? I was I was in there. But I think for the

0:39.0

average guy who's watching porn and using porn, it's just become a part of his life, part of his

0:43.8

daily life. And so today I'm going to share with you the seven things that I've learned over

0:50.4

the years through my own experience through working with thousands of men who are sharing

0:55.0

their experience around pornography and why they're using it, why they're struggling to quit,

1:00.5

and through research, through research on porn's impact on the brain and the body and the sexual

after you climax, right? You're going to have a sort of a peak within that dopamine release,

1:41.8

and then eventually you're going to have a trough. And the dopamine

1:45.4

release, right, dopamine is a neurotransmitter that's associated with pleasure and reward. And over

1:50.9

time, what happens is that your brain may become conditioned to seek out that pleasure and that

1:59.5

reward of watching porn. So it kind of tricks, your brain is

2:03.1

sort of tricked into this experience that when you are watching pornography, it feels like

2:07.1

you're doing something productive. It feels like you're doing something rewarding. It feels like
