So I was wondering why some people have an easy time initially letting go or transforming a certain set of limiting beliefs.

0:09.1

And then there's another set of limiting beliefs that are a little bit harder that seem to hang on.

0:14.3

And then almost everyone has this core limiting belief that they're like, I just haven't been able to get rid of it.

0:19.8

And so 12 Step gave me some optics when I went to get rid of it. And so 12-step gave me

0:21.2

some optics when I went back into it last year. And I did my resentments inventory. I realized,

0:26.9

oh, wow, for me, some of the limiting beliefs that I've been holding on to that I haven't been

0:31.5

able to let go, they're connected through resentment to other people. In other words, some of the core, some of the beliefs I got

0:41.0

from my dad, I still had resentments from my dad. And you cannot let go of a limiting belief

0:45.4

if you're still holding on to the person who you form that psychological emotional relationship

0:50.7

with. All right. Mr. David Bayer, how you doing, brother? I'm doing great. It's good to be here. It's been a hot minute since you were last on the show. I actually didn't, I didn't look. I probably should have to see when I last had you on the show. But I think it's been about four or five years, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, I think it was like around

1:12.4

2018, definitely pre-pandemic. Definitely, yes, definitely pre-pandemic. So it might actually be longer

1:17.6

than I'm thinking. But anyway, since it's been so long, I'm going to ask you the question

1:23.4

that I asked everybody, the question that you probably answered last time, which is tell us a story

1:27.7

about a defining moment in your life. So it's a different defining moment than the defining moment last

1:33.0

time. And it's a recent defining moment. There was so much contraction and compression in the

1:40.3

experience of the pandemic for all of us. And one of the things that I'm sure we'll get into more

1:45.6

is how the negative emotions that we feel or the experiences that we don't prefer in our life

1:51.6

are actually an opportunity to unpackage and create even more energy in our life and expansion.

1:57.3

So it's like you get through the challenge and you're bigger on the other side.

2:06.0

So that was already going on with the pandemic. And then my wife, Carol was pregnant. Carol was three months pregnant is the beginning of 2022. So it's not that long ago. And in late 2021, you know,

2:13.8

we had grown very, very quickly as a transformational coaching company, working predominantly with entrepreneurs.

2:20.2

We were doing a lot of online marketing, Facebook advertising,
