Every week, there are players in fantasy football that completely changed the landscape of how we view the rest of the season. And now that we have two weeks of data, we can start to tell what's real and what's not and who are the actual players skyrocketing up the rankings after two weeks. So in this video, I'll break down the seven players who I believe are skyrocketing up the rankings the most right now after two weeks of the seasons. And in your leagues, you should try and get your hands on them. Or better yet, hopefully you already have these players.

0:21.9

The first one that we have to start with is by far the bear's alpha looks like wide receiver in romeadunesay this was a guy who was drafted to be the alpha wide receiver for romeadunesay last year top 10 overall pick was brought in in the exact same draft class as caleb williams and it was kind of reported that they were clicking as rookies together But the problem is it wasn't that simple in their rookie year with a bad offensive line, bad coaching, just a bad system around them. He did see over 100 targets, Romadunzei, nearly six per game in an offense that was playing from behind chucking the ball a ton. I mean, even Keenan Allen at that point in a bad offense was finding success. DJ Moore had his weeks as well, but in general, Roma Dunezay wasn't able to have a big week or a big season with Caleb Williams in his rookie year, 54 receptions, 734 yards. Like, this is nice numbers for a rookie, but when you're a top 10 overall pick, the expectations were you were going to hit the ground running, you were going to be this guy that we saw at Washington who couldn't win at all levels of the field.

1:11.4

And he was kind of pigeonholed into one specific role that wasn't working last year. Now, all of that led to a Dunezay averaging just 8.5 fantasy points per game as a rookie, the wide receiver 56 overall. But based on this offseason, everything that we saw from Ben Johnson coming in, a new offensive line, Caleb Williams entering year two, the hype in preseason games and training camp from Romadunzei. We were hoping that he would hit the ground running in year two, and so far, yes. Roman Dunzee came out here in week two of the season after having a quality week one, massive game. His best game as a pro so far, seven catchers, 128 yards averaging over 18 yards per reception. He had two touchdowns in this game.

1:44.4

We got to see everything that you like to see at a Roman Dunez. Operating as a true X receiver. 212 pounds he has the frame for it. He has the athletic testing too, according to player profiler. 445 speed for his size is incredible. Top 10% speed score. Solid burst in agility as well. He does everything well. and heading into week one.

2:01.4

He basically had the same main target competition

2:03.6

as last year in DJ Moore, but Keenan Allen was gone, being replaced by Olmad DiZacchius and Luther Burton, a second round rookie who hasn't played much. That is a downgrade. And so far we've seen that because the target shares through this point in the season right now, 34% target share is what we just saw in week two for Roman Dunezay.

2:20.0

He's pushing towards a 30% target share through two games in this offense. And don't get me wrong, if you're watching this offense, it seems like every other play Caleb Lames, whether he should be or not is leaving the pocket and scrambling to one sideline and having to make an off-balance throw. but a lot of those throws right now, when they are being completed,

2:34.3

they're going to Roma Dunesay for some big gains as a Dunseh,

2:37.4

whether it's on Scramble play. and having to make an off-balance throw. But a lot of those throws right now, when they are being completed,

3:12.3

they're going to Roma Dunezay for some big gains as a Dunezay, whether it's on Scramble plays, design plays, is getting you there. He played 100% of the snapshot and 100% of the routes this past week. DJ Moore is still out there, right? He's still seeing a 19% target chair, just not seeing those explosive plays as often downfield, not seeing as many targets because as as of right now, it is all Roma dunes in this past week, like we said, 100, 120 plus yards, two touchdowns in week one, nine targets, six catches another touchdown, a strong start to the season. He's not just emerging. He is, like I said, the alpha, as you could see from Ryan Heath's sweet right here, he looked awesome, leading the bears with seven catches, 128 yards, and two touchdowns. And he did so on a team high, 33% target share,

3:17.7

every single stat above set or tie to Dunseye's career high. So all he did in week two of this year, his second game ever with Ben Johnson as his offensive coordinator, is literally have

3:21.8

the best game of his career after having a solid game in week one. The arrow is only going up for Roma Dunez right now. And honestly, similar things can be said for Jaylen Warren, who I came on these airwaves last week and was a little bit concerned about the usage we were seeing. And I would say rightfully so. But once we get new data, I'm going to adjust my opinion on that. Because if you don't, you're just being a bad analyst, you're spreading bad information.

3:42.9

And that's not the case because we just got a whole new set of data in week too.

3:45.8

And this time it was very good for Jalen Warren. Now, the reason why I was concerned last week is because we saw Kenneth Gainwell lead the team in snaps. We saw Kenneth Gamow kind of playing the Jalen Warren role from 2023 and 2024 in this Pittsburgh's offense,

3:57.7

while Jalen Warren was kind of playing the Najee Harris role, and23 and 2024 in this Pittsburgh's offense, while Jalen

3:58.2

Warren was kind of playing the Najee Harris role, and he's not really set for that role. Arthur Smith is always going to give us headaches, right? These two running backs were involved last week. Caleb Johnson, the rookie, not so much. Probably not going to see a lot of him after he just basically didn't return a kickoff that led to a touchdown, pretty bad, boneheaded rookie mistake. at time, though, we should mention, like, the coaches kind of have to have

4:15.8

the right guy out there.

4:16.6

Like, that should never even be a possibility in that player's mind. But anyways, this was the concern for me in week one. 50% of the snaps for Kenneth Gamowell while seeing 37% of the rushing attempts led the backfield in routes run. and if you're going to take away the routes run from Jalen Warren, those yards per receptions,

4:31.0

yards after the catch where he's been so efficient in his career, that's going to hurt him a ton, not to even mention the fact that Kenneth Gamowell saw 50% of the snaps in his own carries as well. That completely flipped, though, right? This past week, we ended up seeing 14 carries for Jalen Warren, just five for Kenneth Gamel overall, just one carry on just a couple of snaps for Caleb Johnson in this game. That translated this past week to it being Jalen Warren's backfield. And I think this is going to be the case moving forward because he was absolutely fantastic in week two. 58% of the snaps of commanding 70% of the backfield rush attempts, 41% of the routes, but here's the big thing. Not only did he lead the backfield in carries, in rush attempts, in yards, and all that as a runner, he led the entire team, not just the backfield as a receiver as well. Now, a lot of it did come on that one big 65-yard catch run that you might have seen the highlights on on Red Zone or whatever, but four catches led the team interceptions. 86 yards was 55 more than anybody else on this team, and yes, it was the big 65-yard run. But he totaled in this game over 100 total yards. He totaled 18 opportunities compared to the rest of the backfield. Kenneth game well between his carries and his tart or receptions, just eight opportunities. So clearly now after two weeks, just from a touches standpoint, and now last week a usage and a snap standpoint, this is Jaylen Warren's backfield. We had this data to kind of put a cementing point on that right here from Ryan Heath. He basically says the weighted opportunity share. Last week, Warren saw 56% last week. This week, 58% weighted opportunities factor in your ability in the receiving game and around the goal line in red zone where you're going to get those very important that's why they're called weighted opportunities for fantasy football purposes Caleb johnson muffed a kick and didn't realize it was a live ball led to a touchdown i don't think the third round rookie's going to play for a while now Caleb johnson an unfortunate six to eighth round pick if you took him in your fantasy drafts as of now, if you needed to drop somebody, we're not to

6:10.8

the by weeks yet, but if you needed to drop somebody, I think you could drop Caleb Johnson.

6:13.8

Now, the good thing about Jay Lamourin finally seeing maybe this workhorse usage is he's always been one of the most efficient running backs in the NFL. We just saw that this past week where he's averaged once again over like six, seven yards per touch in his career. and during this season, he was top 10 in yards per rush, top five in success rate,

6:28.0

number one in avoided tackle rate.
