If you're in a fantasy football league, listen up because this video is going to help you.

0:03.5

Every single year, there's a few running backs rinse and repeat that starts slow and then their

0:08.0

value builds as the season goes on.

0:09.8

And that's happening right now in fantasy football and you need to try and buy these five

0:13.7

running backs in this video before they start to have some good games.

0:16.8

And the first one is like a gift being handed to us right now.

0:19.9

It's Chase Brown of the Cincinnati

0:21.1

Bengals. And so far, everything around Chase Brown has been rough. And obviously the Joe Burrow

0:26.3

injury in week two has only made things even worse for Chase Brown, at least on the surface, right?

0:31.8

And basically all fantasy managers who have Chase Brown right now are looking at this like,

0:36.3

this dude for two weeks hasn't produced for me for the most part in my lineups. And now Joe Burroughs gone panic time. Look, I get it, but let's talk through this. In week one, Chase Brown had 21 carries, 43 yards. He found the end zone in this game as well. So he salvaged his day, otherwise just two yards per carry. And in week two, 16 carries 47 yards, still doesn't hit three yards per carry doesn doesn't find the end zone in this game. So you're looking at a couple of weeks now where Chase Brown is seeing a ton of carries, but is yet to crack 50 rushing yards in a game, is not getting activated as much as a receiver. Thankfully, he found the end zone in one of those games, but he has no big performances as your second round fantasy pick. On the surface, it looks like you have a bust on your hands now that Joe Burrow is injured, but everybody just please take a breath because let's not forget. We're only two weeks into the season, and you could remember last year in the second half of the season when Chase Brown became the starter, according to Rodeviz's game splits tools, these final eight games, over 20 fantasy points per game, between his receiving yards of 37, rushing yards of 79, this dude had over 100 total yards per game. I get it. Joe Burrow was active during those games. He was healthy. The Bengals were putting up historically good fantasy production, and now that's not going to be the same for the next 10 to 12 weeks with Chase Browning. Not to that level. Did I say Chase Browning? I meant Jake Browning. Or maybe I did say Jake Browning. I don't know. I'm losing my mind.

1:46.7

But here's the positive news for you. So far through two games, Chase Brown has played 72% of the snaps, top 10 at the running back position. And the only other running back to see a snap has been Somagy Piron and they've all been passing down snaps because Chase Brown has seen

2:00.3

97% of the

2:01.5

backfield carries. The only two carries, the only other two carries in this backfield

2:05.5

went to the quarterbacks, right? No other running back has seen a backfield carry or touch right now.

2:11.0

It's all going to Chase Brown, whether it's the two minute offense, right? We could scroll right here.

2:14.7

According to the fantasy life stats right here, the short down and distance, you're getting all that 80% to Chase Brown, 83% of the carries inside the five yard line. He's getting right now, basically 50-50 snaps on the two-minute offense with Samaji P. Ryan, who's in there for a couple of the two-minute snaps so far through the first two weeks of the season. He's still a workhorse back. We know based on last year that he could put up points in this offense.

2:35.7

And honestly, in week two, the Bengals only had seven points when Joe Burrow left the game. Jake Browning comes in. They end up getting 31 points. That's not to say he's better than Joe Burrow. It's just to say that he can actually manage an offense. Here's a tweet for you if you are a fantasy manager of Chase Brown to maybe make you feel a little bit better.

2:50.0

And if you're not, to go and buy low on him, Chase Brown was the only Bengals running back to record a touch or target in week two. He says he remains very high on him as an RB1 this season. He's getting all three of the carries inside the five-yard line. I do think when you have an offense that has T. Higgins. That has Jamar Chase. Heck, that has Chase. you're going to have enough weapons for really an average. It seems like Jake Browning is an average NFL quarterback slightly below average. He's going to be able to move the ball, get to the red zone. That helps everybody, including your running back Chase Brown. And as of right now, there's just really no competition. Like Samaji P. Ryan's in there on some two-minute offense snaps. The rookie Taj Brooks has not come in right now. So it really looks like basically everything they were saying in the preseason and training camp that we want to make Chase Brown like the next Austin Echler. He's going to be like a fantasy or a real life superstar. He can catch passes. He can run. We haven't seen that just yet in terms of like fantasy superstar. But we saw over 20 carries in week one. We saw another basically 20 opportunities in week two. Eventually that's going to start to click into place and i think the offense with jake browning will remain functional as we move forward now to look at some one for one trades now obviously in your leagues maybe you have to do a two for one or a three for two wherever right i'm just looking at one for one for simplicity of this and again in your leagues there might not be these trades that you can get done, right?

3:58.0

Might be a super competitive league where people don't want to trade or don't trust you because they think you're getting one over on them. In fantasy leagues right now, these are the trades that have been happening over the last couple of days. Chase Brown straight up for a Marion Hampton, I'd rather have Chase Brown. Chase Brown and Kyron Williams, I'd rather have Chase Brown. Chase Brown or Giovante, give me Chase Brown or McBride.

4:14.5

That's kind of a coin flip, probably lean McBride.

4:16.4

Chase Brown or Garrett Wilson, I'd rather have Chase Brown. Chase Brown or Giovante, give me Chase Brown or McBride.
