| 0:00.0 | If you want to win your fantasy league, you need to be taking advantage of the early season |
| 0:03.7 | waiver wire. That's why in this video, we're going to be breaking down 10 players across all positions in fantasy that can help improve your team. And let's start right here with the Titans fourth round wide receiver rookie out of Stanford, Alec Aimanore. And here's the thing about this. These types of rookies who show flashes early in the season, especially when they're attached to a high upside rookie quarterback like Cam Ward are important to pay attention to and |
| 0:23.5 | here's what I'm talking about. This was the stats from week one. Calvin Ridley led the team with 94% of the routes, but right away, Ella Geimanor, like we saw in the preseason, was number two. Not only was he number two, he saw 28% of the targets. 28% of the targets is an elite number. I would have been happy if he saw 18%, 20%. He sees 28% of the targets in week one, and then that translates over into week two. So now it's becoming a trend. And the interesting thing about week one was this right here. According to PFF, Titans rookie wide receiver, Elit Giamenor led the NFL in unrealized air yards last week with 120. That means based on all of his targets when the ball was thrown from the line of scrimmage to where it landed, he had the most in the NFL of downfield usage. That's good when you have a big arm quarterback like Cam Ward, and that's usually going to lead to fantasy points in the future. Now, sometimes you have to wait a couple of weeks for that to pan out, but you didn't in this one because Alec Eaminer in week two in this game, he goes for four catches, 56 yards, has a touchdown, has the deep touchdown as well in this game, had a beautiful 20 plus yard reception. This was exactly what I'm talking about. When you're getting the air yards from a big arm quarterback like Cam Ward, it's going to start panning out. When you're not playing the Denver Broncos, top five defense in the NFL in week one, it's going to start panning out, and that happened in week two. You can see the usage according to PFF stats right here. Once again in week one, Calvin Lee was still the wide receiver one in terms of snaps and Routes Run, but number two for the second straight week, Elk Aymanor, over Tyler Lockett, over Chamere Deke, another wide receiver in the draft, |
| 1:44.7 | over Van Jefferson, who was the wide receiver on this three before training camp, before Elic Eiminoor ended up beating him out in this game. He was tied for the team lead along with Chigokonkou and Calvin Ridley with six targets in this game. And the interesting thing is, like, obviously Calvin Ridley, assuming that he remains healthy, is going to be the premium wide receiver the number one receiver on this team at least right now |
| 2:03.0 | that's in my opinion. Based on experience, based on skill. But after that, you're getting a diminished version of Tyler Lockett. You're getting Van Jefferson, who's already now the wide receiver five on this team. You're getting another rookie in Shemir Deak, who doesn't seem as talented as Alec Eamonour, especially based on their usage the first two weeks. |
| 2:35.9 | So it's basically just these two wide receiver and Chego-Conku taking up the snaps. If you look at this tweet right here from Ryan Heath over on Twitter, be sure to follow him. Through two games, Titans rookie wide receiver, Alec Imanor, only has one fewer target than Calvin Ridley. He says he has an amazing one-handed catch on the sideline and followed it up with a touchdown from Cam Ward on an expanded play. |
| 2:37.9 | He should be not left on waivers or he shouldn't be left on waivers. That's exactly what we're saying here as well. Elk Eimanor, if I pull it up right here on my end, he's currently available in 92% of fantasy leagues. Now, if you're in an eight-man league, you're probably not adding him. If you're in a 12-man league that has like five or six bench spots, you should probably start dropping some other players, Colston Loveland, Jerome Ford, |
| 2:53.9 | who aren't |
| 2:54.1 | producing for you, and stash a guy like Al-Gai Manor. And I'll just end with this. Cam Ward, if you saw his stat line in week one, he was like 12 of 28, you might think he stunk. If you go back and you watch the film, he looked awesome. He was making impressive throws against a good Broncos defense. |
| 3:06.2 | He had like three or four drops from Calvin Raleigh from Trigger Conkul in that game |
| 3:09.3 | that would have made his overall stat line look better. And if you look at him in week two, once again looked awesome. Was making some of the best throws in the NFL. He reminds me a lot in terms of his arm strength and placement when he has time to throw of a guy like Gino Smith. And the nice thing for Imanor and just really Calvin Riddly and rest of these Titans is that their schedule should soften up. They're going to get to play the Colts |
| 3:26.6 | twice in the next two weeks. We just saw how bad the Colts are when they face a quality offense in week two, at least on defense overall, giving up a ton of points on those first five or six drives. They get to take on the Titans, a tough pass rush, but then they get the Raiders, the Cardinals who have been hit and miss right now so far on their defense, |
| 3:40.6 | they got to get the get right spot against the Panthers in week two. |
| 3:43.2 | But overall, it's going to get a little bit softer as we move forward for this Titans' offense. Now, we have to talk about another wide receiver. This one's not a rookie, but we're talking about the second year wide receiver, Troy Franklin, former fourth round pick out of Oregon, former teammate of Bo Nixon College, and now in the NFL with the Denver Broncos. And here's why you want to buy this guy. If we look at what he ended up doing last year as a rookie, he had 52 targets, right? Only a 10% target share just wasn't playing that much. 37% of the snaps as a rookie was playing behind some guys at that time, Devon Féle, who has now been traded to the Saints, some other players on that team, Marvin Mames, right? He just wasn't involved in the offense. But we started to hear some murmurs so in the preseason and towards the end of camp that Troy Franklin was seeing an expanded role, that maybe he could be the wide receiver two on this team, Sutton, the obvious one, maybe the wide receiver two if he could beat out Marvin Mames, and honestly, so far we're scene. Because if we pull up the from week 1 on Fantasy Life, obviously number 1 1 1 1% percent of the routes, 1, 25% of the targets. But number 2, somewhat surprisingly, Troy Franklin, 65% of the routes, 17% of the targets, was operating as the number 2 wide receiver in option in this offense from both a usage and a target share perspective. Now overall, that was the second highest usage of his career. He turned that into four catches for 44 yards in week one on six targets. Just a so-so day, but in week two, the usage continued. And it continued to the point where he finally broke out and he outproduced Cortland Sutton by far in this game. Eight catches, 89 yards, and a touchdown in this contest for Troy Franklin. This was a career best game. And when we look at the usage, he led the team in snaps actually ahead of Cortland Sun, led the team in routes actually ahead of Cortland Sun, had nine targets, more than two times more anybody else on the team. Again, this is just a one game sample here. We don't have to get too crazy about this, but it's a one-game sample based on a trend. |
| 5:21.2 | Based on preseason hype and usage, based on week one seeing the second best usage of his career, and now this week seeing the best usage of his career paired with the best production. And it's important to call this out because, yes, Cortland Sutton is still, in my opinion, the alpha there for sure. But other than that, Marvin Mims has never really panned out. Towards the end of last year, they were using him out |
| 5:39.4 | the backfield as sort of a gadgety guy. So far this year, he's not panning out. Pat Bryant was a rookie who's just not seeing the field all that much right now. And other than that, there's no other options here in the passing attack. Evan Ingram is like struggling to see the field on 50% of his snaps, you pull this up and you see what Troy Franklin did in college with Bo Nix, |
| 5:54.8 | and you can start to tell yourself in college with Bo Nix, |
| 5:54.9 | and you can start to tell yourself a story about how this can be successful. |
| 5:58.3 | Their last year together in 2023, 81 catches for Troy Franklin, |
| 6:03.0 | over 1,300 receiving yards attached to Bo Nix, 22 target share, 22% target share. |
| 6:08.9 | Bow Nix in this game compared to week one looked way better. |
| 6:11.6 | I believe on his first three drives, maybe his first four. He had three touchdown passes. Was looking awesome in this game as well before the second half got a little bit wonky for both teams. But as of right now, you want to be buying Troy Franklin off of this usage. He's currently available in 97% of fantasy leagues go out and get it. You need to go out and get Cam Scataboo, who's in this video because he's currently available in about 50% of fantasy leagues. Now, |
