a microphone, that's right. Hold on, let's hear that again.

When I handed our guest this week, Mr. Jeff Pivar, an amazingly talented guitarist,

when I handed him his microphone in SM58, he immediately put it on his strings and started playing.

That's because he lives and breathes music.

He is a musical dude.

In musician speak, we would say Jeff Pivar is a musical motherfucker.

Well, that's a technical term. I'm not going to finish it here, but I think you know where I was going. Now, let's stop for a second and look back.

I know that many of you, if not every single one of you listening, has heard of Joe Satriani

and knew of him before episode one of this show. What I love, I just love, is that I know that there's a

good number of you who probably had not heard of Jeff Pivar until this episode. And that's great,

because one of my goals with this show is to get stories out there about amazing players who maybe

aren't household names, who maybe haven't sold 10, 15, 20 million records like Joe Satriani.

Their stories are just as valuable and just as amazing.

Jeff is quite the professional. He's played with Ray Charles, Donald Fagan from Steely Dan,
