Okay, so first of all, could you just tell us a little bit about how Escape Pod got started?

Like what prompted you to start the podcast and how did the launch come together?

I think I first heard about podcasting somewhere around the end of 2004, maybe the very beginning of 2005.

And I think it's a lot like blogging.

People just hear the term and there's a small percentage of people that something clicks in their heads and they say, man, I've got

to try one of those things. About that time I was listening to Michael and Evo's Dragon Page

podcast and I knew that a couple of those were already starting a podcast novels that they'd written.
