And welcome to episode six of Geek's Guide to the Galaxy.

Today we'll be talking with author Sherry Priest. Her first novel was the

Southern ghost horror story 4 and 20 blackbirds. She followed that up with two sequels.

And her most recent work is all said in her clockwork century milieu.

Her latest novel is called Bone Shaker.

It's a sort of alternate history, Civil War,

Steampunk zombie novel sounds really cool.

And she's also been involved

with George R. Martin's Wild Card shared world

superhero anthology series. So we're looking forward to talking with her about that.

And if you don't know what Steampunk is, we'll just explain quickly, because I just

have a hunch that's going to come up in this interview.

So it's hard to explain what steampunk is if you don't know what cyberpunk is.

So at the risk of getting off topic, we'll just explain what cyberpunk is really quickly.
