And we are celebrating romance Cinephiles style by going through what we think are some of

our most romantic movies, and we have arrived itself.

We were just in a movie from the 90s that explored a gay couple and that involved

someone dressing up as a different gender in order to fool someone and now we have someone

and now we have gone back to the classic film of that genre

where we have Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon

having to pass themselves off

as female band members in Billy Wilders, some like it hot.

Well, no one's perfect.

This is one of those films that I remember watching with my parents and just falling in love with this movie because of the great performances from Tony Curtis and Jack Lemma and the situational comedy within it and the confident direction of Billy Wilder and of course of Marilyn Monroe and seeing the different

approaches to this kind of situation that they're in. Not only not only fish out of water, not only people who've made mistakes and caused themselves to get into,

they caused themselves to have enemies with people who are really powerful,

but also how they navigate all of this, how they

step into being the world of a woman, how they, you know, how they, it displays being a woman in the world at that time.

I thought the film was groundbreaking and really illuminating

for what it was and when it came out.

Well and I think what's so interesting is like you know love isn't one thing so so far we've

had the intense even combative sometimes
