that involves every single one of us that has a telephone.

And that has to do with robocalls, telemarketing scams, because we all get those constantly.

And there's now a nationwide crackdown. They are just not going fast enough and they're not nailing people enough.

So U.S. regulators announced a nationwide crackdown to stop companies from inundating us.

I mean, everybody with billions of unwanted illegal robocalls and telemarketing calls.

It's against the law for them to do that.

So this is called Operation Stop Scam Calls, involves the Federal Trade Commission,

101 federal state law enforcement authorities, and includes the attorneys general of all 50 states in Washington, D.C.
