A Washington judge grants a request from special prosecutor Jack Smith to abandon the election interference case against President-elect Trump.

A similar effort is underway in Florida over a classified documents case.

Special counsel, Jack Smith, wrote that the Justice Department will not and cannot prosecute a sitting president.

Therefore, the cases must be dismissed. In Washington, D.C., Smith charged Trump with trying to

overturn the results of the 2020 election. It was supposed to go to trial in March, but the U.S.

Supreme Court delayed the process. The special counsel also charged Trump in Florida

with taking classified documents after leaving the White House. A Trump-appointed judge dismissed

that case over the summer, and Smith appealed to a circuit court. Now that Donald Trump is

less than two months from moving back into the White House, Special Counsel Smith says his two cases are over.

Fox's David Spont, the nation's immigration policies expected a change after the president

elect made cracking down on illegal immigration, a key part of his campaign.

He's already named a border czar.

Since election day, I've talked to a whole lot of Border Patrol agents and Texas troopers who say they are ecstatic that Tom Holman is going to be leading President Trump's border security efforts. unaccompanied children, some as young as two years old, no parents, no guardians traveling

completely alone. President-elect has vowed to carry out mass deportations. The California judge

delayed an anticipated resenting hearing for Eric and Lyle Menendez, two Beverly Hills brothers serving

life without parole for the 1989 murders of their parents.

Today, family members testified on behalf of the Menendez brothers.

That's going to judge to consider new evidence of their father's sexual abuse.
