Be guided in a Peaceful Walking Meditation to to connect with your outdoor environment. You can do this meditation seated inside if you can't manage to get outdoors, but I encourage you to open a window when you meditate (rain or shine), to bring a little of the outdoors into your meditation space. This is part 7of a 7-Part Meditation Series on Mini-Meditations, Episodes 681-687. Welcome to the Daily Meditation Podcast. I'm Mary Meckley and I'm a meditation teacher who shares a different meditation technique every day on the podcast.

And each technique is customized around a weekly theme. And we explore different meditation techniques throughout the week that are all customized around

meditations so it's all about you taking your meditation techniques that you may do while

you meditate in your nice meditation space. It's about you incorporating those into your everyday life.

So what I mean by a mini meditation is when you do a meditation technique during your day,

maybe you're driving and rush hour traffic and you do a breathing technique or just repeat an affirmation.

Or maybe you are getting ready to do a presentation or have a conversation with someone that might be a little difficult.

You can do a breathing technique or focus on a chakra or even to a mudra.

These are excellent many meditations you can do throughout your day.

So you take your meditation ritual off your cushion and into your everyday life.

Well, every Saturday, this is for a Saturday, I share with you a walking meditation.

And you don't have to go out and walk to do the meditation. I know sometimes that's

not always possible, but I encourage you to get outside and connect with nature as often as

possible, especially when you meditate. This really takes your meditation to a new level. When you're outside, immersing

yourself in nature, or even if you live in a city, you're connecting with the world around you.

And if you do stay seated in your meditation space, if you're doing this meditation indoors,

you could visualize yourself walking in your favorite location.
