| 1:15.9 | Lord and he obeyed the Lord. Whatever God told Samuel to do, he did. He became a |
| 1:21.8 | spiritual leader for all of Israel. |
| 1:25.0 | Finally, it was time for Samuel to go and be with the Lord. |
| 1:29.0 | When Samuel died, all of Israel assembled and mourned for him and they buried him at his home in |
| 1:34.8 | Rama. His death brought to an end the life of one of God's most faithful servants. |
| 1:40.4 | He was zealous for God. Do you know what the word zealous means? To be zealous |
| 1:46.0 | means to show excitement for and dedication to the things of God, to love God with |
| 1:51.6 | all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind. |
| 1:55.0 | Samuel did more than any other person of his day to follow what was in God's heart. |
| 2:00.0 | He was an example of a man who was faithful and blameless. |
| 2:05.0 | He left behind him a reputation that places him as one of the greatest of God's Old Testament people. |
