Each month we read a verse from the Bible and learn how to pray it back to God.

Have you ever struggled with knowing what to say to God when you pray?

Sometimes we don't always know how to pray or what to pray when we're talking to God.

The good news is that God has given us the Bible and the Bible is filled with all kinds of truths that we can pray back to God. When we are at a loss and don't know how or what to

pray, we can turn to the Bible to give us truths that we can stand on and believe in when we pray to God.

Did you know that when you ask Jesus into your heart you became a child of God?

The Bible says we can have confidence as we come before God and talk to him in prayer because he is

our father and he hears us. Today's passage from the Bible comes from Psalm

chapter 148. Do you like to sing songs? Do you like to sing songs

into the Lord? If you do then you will love the Psalms. The Psalms were

written to be sung unto the Lord. The Israelites would gather together and sing Psalms as praise and worship to the Lord for all he had done for them.

The Psalm we are going to read today is a Psalm of praise. Do you know what it means to

praise the Lord? It means to lift up his name, enjoy and Thanksgiving for how good he is and all he has done.

Whenever you are having a bad day or struggling with something,

all you have to do is begin praising the Lord

and he will come and be with you. He loves it when you praise him. He loves to hear

the praises of his children. Let's read Psalm 148 and listen to how the Psalmist praises the Lord.

I will praise you Lord with all my heart.

Before the gods I will sing your praise.

I will bow down toward your holy temple
