I have rejoined the winter tire lifestyle, sort of.

Oh, in the I-3?

That's right. So over the weekend, Tiff had taken my car out of town because it has a long range, and I was driving her car, the I-3.

My car, the IX, is perfectly well in the snow. I meant to say I X. I 100% said

I3, but I was, I meant to say IX. The I 3 is the one that has a range extender. That's right.

But it's still, you know, to go like, you know, deep upstate, it's not super great. So anyway,

so she had my good car and I had the I3, which is a wonderful car in lots of ways.

However, I learned that in snow and ice, it is not only not a wonderful car, it is a horrendously bad car in snow and ice.

Has it ever had its tires changed, ever?

Yeah, actually, well, it only has like 11,000 miles on it. So these are the original tires? What year was this car? Not anymore. There was like a slow leak in about a year, about a year ago maybe there was a slow leak and they determined just, let's just replace all of them because they had worn enough by that point. That doesn might as well might as do it um so they're they're actually fairly new tires the problem

as if you if you look into i3 owners and their experience of driving it in the winter so it is a

rear wheel drive car which you know i've had rear wheel drive cars before i know how they handle

in the snow which is not amazing.

Badly.

But yeah, but, you know, if you have snow tires, you can do okay. It's still not, it's still, you know, way worse than an all-wheel drive car, even with regular all-season tires. But, okay. Don't at me. It's way worse than firm wheel drive too, but. Yes. Yes, it is. Can I just stop you right there?

I don't particularly disagree with you, but the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they will argue. I've been there. They will argue. I, I, I, I just want to acknowledge this argument, because I'm not interested in pursuing it further after this moment. I acknowledge, and I am acknowledging on behalf

of all three of us, until John argues with me, that I understand that with the right set of snow

tires, a real-wheel-drive car is actually very performance in the snow. I agree with Marco, though,

for an average driver, which I include myself in that, it is probably better to have an all-wheel-drive car in the snow than a rear-wheel-drive car, rear-wheel-drive car with snow tires, especially where I am. And I am not interested in having an argument about this anywhere on the Internet. Nope. And thank you. You don't think I would disagree with is if you have an all-wheel-drive car with like a summer performance tires on it, that's not going to be better.
