0:21.8

He's not here.

0:22.5

He's not here. Tim's not here. Tim's late. He said he was going to be late. He has a gig, corporate gig. But to back him up, we've got our buddy Steve Rogers. Stephen Rogers. Hey, guys. It's part of the Nate Land world. He's part of the Nate Land. He's got a special on Nate Land.

0:37.3

He's a great comedian.

0:38.4

He happens to be in town in St. Louis. You're open for a guy named

0:43.3

Brett Eldridge? Yes. I'm doing the Glow tour. It's a Christmas tour.

0:49.0

Okay.

0:49.5

That Brett Eldridge's done for about, I think, nine years. We just did the three nights at the Riemann, three at Chicago Theater, and we're the Fox and St. Louis today. That's amazing. So you go up and do some stand-up, and then Brett comes up and sings Christmas songs? Yeah. He's got, like, a huge band in this beautiful set, and it's, like, gorgeous. And it's one of those things where the the curtain comes up and

1:12.5

that's like the wow factor of the set oh i see yeah i'm just in front of the curtain uh but it's great

1:18.0

how's uh the stand up uh is it a different animal to a audience that's not expecting yeah or

1:24.3

oh yeah i i wrote a bunch of jokes about being an opening act when they came to see music.

1:33.3

Yeah.

1:33.7

Because I was like, I know I'm going to have to go in there and turn the ship around.

1:38.2

Yeah.

1:38.5

Basically, all the way.

1:40.3

And thankfully, they're like, you know, showing up in a good mood.

1:44.0

And I'm on the poster for the tour, which I was really really appreciative of. Because I'm like, if they don't even know there's an opening act at all, this is rough. They boo you? No booze yet. But a bunch of kids. Wait till tonight, man. Yeah, you're going to get hit.

2:01.7

Is that why you wanted those comps? It's just a different thing. That's why I was sticking around for comps. They'll booing over. It'll be the only. Yeah, Sean. Oh, I know about it, man. I've been hit. Really? No, no, no, not at all. But. They just leave. That'd be funny if they're there for Christmas cheer, but they're not up, they're not against booing.

2:21.4

Oh, yeah. No, not at all. But they just leave. They just leave. That'd be funny if they're there for Christmas cheer, but they're not up, they're not against booing.

2:21.4

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.

2:23.7

Yeah, they'll boo with bells on.
