Summary

Nostalgia and Anxiety* are back for another catch up, and this week we’re hankering after our very own Andrew Scott summer (Taylor? Kylie? Go on then!) Diving into the big terrestrial TV toss up that was presented earlier in the week before onto a formal introduction to what Liv deems as the very best biscuits of all time- we hope you’re ready for some serious ground to be covered. Plus, we also veer into old school life advice, the sheer amount that can be done with vinegar and kindly request your Woman’s-Weekly-esque tip offs and recommendations please and thank you!

For your home cleaning hacks, song recommendations and, well, whatever you fancy- we truly love hearing from you! You can drop us a line over at thefringeofit@gmail.com, and for high quality collages and a lovely carousel (if you’re lucky) of things we chatted about you can have a nosey on our IG too @fringeofit

0:18.0

Hi!

0:28.4

Hello, hello, how are you? I'm good, thank you. How are you? I'm good. What have you been up to? Tell me all about it.

0:37.5

Oh my goodness. I feel like I've done so much recently, not to gloat. That felt like a bit of a, yeah, I've actually done so much.

0:39.9

I don't even know where to begin.

0:43.9

I was trying to think about how to tell you everything I've been up to in a really concise way.

0:49.5

But there has been live music, there has been ice creams in so many flavours,

0:56.1

and lots of Glastonbury TV coverage, which I'm still watching all these weeks later.

0:57.6

Right. Start with the most exciting.

1:02.3

Okay, the most exciting thing is I went to see Taylor Swift.

1:06.1

I mean, it's not like, I don't think that's that exciting, but apparently she's quite popular.

1:10.5

Okay, so let's try the next thing, which might be exciting to you. I went to the Anya Hynmarch ice cream pop-up. Yeah, much more interesting. What flavour? You went for Jaffa Cake, right? I tried Jaffa Cake, also got Penguin, and we also got sun-packed peanut butter. I feel like we need to give context to anybody that doesn't know what we're talking about. We've just launched straight into ice creams. Okay, so the designer Anjaim Marsh has this village of shops in London.

1:34.0

I think there's four shops. Probably about a 10 minute walk from London Victoria Station and

1:39.3

she has her two kind of main boutiques and then there's a pop-up. Well, there's a shop that kind of changes,

1:44.6

doesn't it, every few months or every couple of months into something different. So it's

1:48.6

been a hairdressers, a nail salon, I think it's been a stationary shop, like a greengrocers.

1:56.3

It's a really amazing concept and it always has the most amazing design details that kind of marriended her brand.

2:04.9

But at the moment, and they did this last summer, it's an ice cream shop.

2:08.3

It's called the Ice Cream Project.

2:09.9

And the idea is that they have, I can't be sure of how many flavours, maybe like 20 different flavors that are all inspired by popular household food names.

2:20.9

So Branson Pickle or, I just said that, I was like the only one.
