Summary

You know those friendships that just get you? The ones where you can talk about the deep, weird, mystical, totally human parts of life — and she just understands without you having to explain? That's what this conversation feels like.

It's been almost a year since my last sit-down with my real-life bestie, Rosie Acosta — and these episodes are always your favorites (and mine too!). Someone messaged me the other day saying, "Your podcast feels like the spiritual sleepover I wish I could be part of." And that's exactly what this episode is.

Rosie and I talk all about how to create — and sustain — friendships that truly stand the test of time.

We share how we met (hint: a podcast swap that turned into a lifelong bond), what makes our friendship work through distance and growth, and how we've navigated things like conflict, evolving paths, politics, and even love.

We dive into:
🖤 Why deep female friendships are sacred soul contracts
🌹 How to find besties who really get your spiritual evolution
🐍 What to do when you grow apart or disagree — without canceling each other
✨ How to maintain closeness through long distance and life transitions
💫 The difference between "besties" and "best friends" — and why both matter

We also talk about the loneliness epidemic happening right now — and how to actually make new friends in adulthood when everyone's got AirPods in. Rosie shares beautiful insights on boundaries, compassion, and creating community, while I open up about my own experiences building soul-aligned friendships through podcasts, rituals, and just saying yes to connection.

If you've ever felt like you've outgrown friendships, or wondered where to find women who match your energy.

This episode is your reminder that soul family is real, and they're out there waiting for you.

So grab your matcha, get cozy, and join our spiritual sleepover.

Because you're the third bestie in this conversation. 💛

I think what our generation is learning is like, no, we don't want those nice to have gossip over coffee,

but even rare to keep, because we're not as a society prioritizing it as much.

Because here's the facts, women outlive men.

women are going to be the ones holding each other's hands when we pass.

And that is how it's always been.

Welcome back to the highest health podcast. My name is Sahar Rose. And on this podcast, I love to talk about spirituality, but make it modern, fun, grounded, and relatable so it can actually serve your needs. So it's been a year since I've done a conversation with my personal bestie, Rosie Acosta. These are some of your favorite episodes. A listener today reached out to me

1:13.0

and said, your podcast feels like the spiritual sleepover. I wish I could be a part of. And it literally

1:20.4

brought a tear to my eyes because to me, like, that's what life is about. It's about like,

1:26.5

you know, the girl talk talk the diving into the deeper

1:30.2

things we experience and i feel like being a human is so freaking emotional and we ride so many waves

1:37.6

and just to have someone to talk it out to to go through the nuances and details who gets us that

1:43.1

we're not like saying something and they're like,

1:45.3

wow, you really think a lot, you know? And it's like, okay, they respond to what you said as a whole

1:52.0

rather than like dissecting and diving in. And I love those, those friendships that you have and are

1:57.6

really so rare is more and more that I experienced. And that's what today's conversation is going to be about. But those friendships that I could be like, have you ever felt like time is passing so quickly, but you wish you were in this reality, but you're also want to be present where you're at and this thing that it feels like only you've experienced in someone to be like, oh, yes, I felt da-da-da, and like be able to go there.

2:18.4

And again, even if it wasn't their personal experience, just to freaking get you.
