right? So if somebody says, I was a little catty, I suppose,

and this woman was nagging me about it, and I said, okay,

so imagine you have a boyfriend.

Just imagine you have a boyfriend.

And your boyfriend says, people are coming over tonight.

Would you assume that's one person or more than one person?

Of course, you'd say people.

If he said a person or a friend, if he says people, so that's plural.
