0:59.7	about something called future faking it's a term that's thrown around. It's where
1:04.3	essentially someone and specifically an unhealthy selfish dishonest person
1:09.4	by partner they make a bunch of promises, promises that make it seem like they're invested in the future with you,
1:16.0	they say all the right things, they tease a future with you, but really they don't mean it because they're faking it.
1:22.0	And actually I don't want to review this concept
1:24.3	specifically because it's pretty basic and I think it's related to other topics too
1:28.6	like looking at words versus actions and and love bombing and you know too good to be true things like that we can
1:35.2	really further define this concept of future faking it's popular on Tik-talk yada yada
1:40.7	instead of that I want to talk about, I want to talk about the word promises.
1:45.4	I want to talk about people who make promises, but then get upset when you hold
1:50.2	them to the promises they made. That's what I want to talk about. And this
1:54.4	supersedes future faking or love bombing or anything like that because promises
1:58.7	are everything in a relationship and we need to treat them as such.
2:03.4	That is, if someone promises you something,
2:06.0	you have every right to hold them to it.
