thank you for supporting me and today I want to establish something for the record for both of us.

You are not a naive person.

I am not a naive person.

In the instances where you might feel just that, right?

You're naive for trusting someone. You're naive

for thinking someone would keep a promise. You're naive for thinking what

someone posted on social media or claimed is actually true. You're naive for assuming the best in others, for seeing

the best in someone, for believing in hope and goodness. In those instances where you believed

in those things and you held out hope for those things and you trust it in those things.

But unfortunately it proved to be the opposite.

It proved to be not true.

You are not naive.

You are not naive. I really don't like that word, naive. I don't like how it's used. I don't like how we use it against ourselves.

When I think of those instances, right, where you let hope lead you, where you refuse to be a closed

off cynical, everyone is lying, they'll just screw me over a person.

When you refuse to become that person, when you refuse to become that person

when you refuse to become like so many people are in this world
