Luke’s training as a physician allowed him to observe and report with a different perspective than any other biblical writer. His account of the angel telling Mary, “Nothing is impossible with God,” is the theme of his writing and the reason he oriented his life around understanding God and having a relationship with Jesus. Pastor Allen Jackson challenges us to explore our own beliefs about the relationship of science and faith. “I believe that faith and belief are every bit as precise as science because the God in whom I believe is the one who brought order to my physical person and the world in which I live. When faith and science seem to collide, it means we are at the edge of what we understand, and we’re about to learn again.”
