Summary

Be guided in a meditation using a breathing technique to energize yourself. You'll also focus on your second chakra which helps you to be open to opportunities around you. The breathing technique you'll learn can be done when you feel fatigued. This meditation is personalized from a reflection in the classic book, Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, who was a Roman emperor who ruled from 161-180 A.D. His reflections are based on Stoic philosophy which emphasizes living a peaceful life by practicing self control to attain inner peace by overcoming adversity, and honoring your true nature -- not forcing yourself to be a particular way. This is so aligned with how I share meditation so I'm excited about this week's series. This is part 3 of a 7-Part Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, Episodes 604-610. As always, you don't have to do the meditation techniques -- they are simply there to help you transition from your busy day to a state of stillness. The techniques also help to calm "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation. So his reflections, or rather they're called meditations, they really give a lot of

1:30.6

insight into suggestions for finding inner peace by doing the right thing, by taking the drama

1:40.6

out of a situation and just doing what's morally the right thing to do.

1:46.6

So every day I'm sharing a meditation, reflection from that book.

breathing technique to start your day. And I left a breathing technique to start your day earlier in the
