| 0:40.0 | we're written for our learning that we, through the patience |
| 0:44.0 | and comfort of the scriptures, might have hope. |
| 0:47.0 | This was just such an encouraging verse I just paused. |
| 0:51.0 | It's like, all right, I want to think about this. |
| 0:54.0 | And hopefully give you some encouragement from it. |
| 0:58.0 | It's funny because this verse isn't an example of what it is saying |
| 1:02.0 | because the verse itself is a comfort, isn't it? |
| 1:06.0 | And we're learning as we read it. |
| 1:08.0 | Like, oh yes, the Old Testament was written for our learning |
| 1:13.0 | and how much more than New Testament, |
| 1:15.0 | it's a tremendous treasure that we have |
| 1:18.0 | and we have most of us probably multiple copies of it on our shelves |
| 1:23.0 | in many different translations. |
