Wednesday October 23rd Vice President Kamala Harris has accused her

opponent Donald Trump of wanting quote unchecked power.

The question in 13 days will be what do the American people want?

Harris was responding to comments made by Trump's one-time chief of staff John Kelly, who said his former boss fit the general definition of a fascist.

Kelly also claimed Trump wanted, quote, the kind of generals Hitler had, which Trump's campaign has denied.

Harris said that people like John Kelly, who acted as, quote, guardrails during Trump's last term,

wouldn't be there a second time around.

Those who once tried to stop him from pursuing his worst impulses

would no longer be there and no longer to reign him in.

Later today, Harris will take questions from undecided and persuadable voters during a CNN

town hall outside Philadelphia.

The event begins at 9 PM Eastern. CNN also invited

former President Donald Trump to participate in a town hall, but he declined.

Both the US and Israel issued security alerts today for certain coastal areas of Sri Lanka.

The US embassy alert advised they had quote received credible information warning of an attack targeting popular tourist

locations in the Arugam Bay Area. Israel's National Security Council raised its

travel advisory level for Sri Lanka for similar reasons. The country also called on Israeli citizens to leave the

areas immediately and to quote avoid openly exhibiting anything that could

identify you as Israeli such as t-shirts with Hebrew writing or any symbol that discloses your religion

or nationality. Neither of the alerts goes into more specifics about the nature of the potential

attack.
