battleground states say they expect to release results faster this year than in 2020, but are urging people

to be patient.

I think voters will expect to see our results up pretty early compared to years before. That's the Director of Elections for Fulton County, Georgia,

speaking on a bipartisan panel today about how they've streamlined their processes.

Early voting is already underway in much of the US.

And one of the candidates at the top of the ticket took advantage of the chance to cast a ballot today.

A campaign official says Minnesota Governor Tim Walls voted in his hometown of St Paul

for Vice President Kamala Harris and himself.

Former President Donald Trump told Fox News radio today that he'll be voting early too,

but he described some mixed feelings about how he wanted to cast his ballot.

A voting early, I guess, would be good, but you know, people have different feelings about it.

But the main thing is you got to get out, you got a vote.

Israeli bombardments in northern Gaza have intensified in recent days,

exacerbating the devastating situation on the ground there.

A new United Nations report warns that the war could erase nearly 70 years of progress in the enclave.

The United Nations Development Program says that key indicators such as life expectancy,

education, income and standard of living are projected to drop to a level estimated for

1995. The poverty rate is at a staggering 74.3% in all of the Palestinian territories,
