That's one of former President Donald Trump's economic promises he laid out during a speech in New York earlier today.

But some experts say it could take a global recession to make

that happen. Trump also said he would reduce the corporate tax rate from 21% to

15% if reelected, but only for companies that make their products in the U.S.

However, the measure would require congressional approval, which could be a hard sell

and make concerns about the rising federal debt. Vice President Kamala Harris unveiled the latest piece of her economic agenda

Wednesday, which notably included a lower than expected tax on capital gains.

In a memo obtained by CNN, her top economic advisor slammed Trump's

plan saying he's quote latently lying to voters about the severe costs and

consequences. Hunter Biden has pleaded guilty to all nine charges in his federal tax case

and the judge has accepted his plea. The guilty plea came hours after his

attorney said Hunter Biden would ask for an Alfred plea which would have

allowed him to maintain his innocence but accept punishment and avoid a trial.

But prosecutors strongly opposed that move and Hunter Biden's team backed away from that plan. His trial was

supposed to begin with jury selection today in Los Angeles.
