So firstly let's start a little vanilla, doesn't have to go too advanced in the beginning.

You just say my friend told me you're amazing at whatever, you're a rower, it doesn't matter.

You're amazing at rowing, you have to tell me about that, I don't know anything about it.

That way you're saying that my friend has already built you up.

Tell me about that thing that she has told me about.
