It is great to be with you on a Monday.

Hope your weekend went well, save for an ugly weekend for the baseball team

that we documented in that first segment a lengthy discussion of all that seems amiss

after watching this program meet its fate yet again

and what we used to call the sub-regional.

And really just not look like a team that had the ability to do anything more than they did, which is to get beat pretty early in the process of postseason play,

and to leave you scratching your head as to how far this prestigious program has truly fallen,

because it was an annual expectation that the team would be, at the very least,

talented enough, good enough, elite enough in the realm of college baseball that they would

likely be hosting and that they would be putting themselves in a position to utilize

immense talent across the board to get out to Omaha

where they hope to cash in and win that elusive national championship.

And of course, that hasn't happened.

And the feeling that you're getting further and further away, you're further and further

removed from that expectation being realistic, further and further removed from that expectation being realistic, further and

further removed from that being the standard. Now, that is the standard, and that is unwaveringly the

standard. And Mike Martin, Jr., the head coach at Florida State University would tell you that

that is true, that that is always going to be the standard. And they don't shy away from that.

And I do credit them for that.
