| 0:00.0 | Hi, this is Lily DeHoya Sanderson, and you're listening to Choosing Glory. |
| 0:09.3 | Thanks for joining me again, and my deepest thanks to my Patreon subscribers who are keeping the podcast going. |
| 0:17.6 | This has been kind of so on Patreon lately, I've posted a couple of things, but it's working on some other pretty significant dead minds that I will share soon with the rest of the podcast audience. |
| 0:29.6 | So appreciate all of you. |
| 0:32.0 | This week we're talking about the Book of Ruth and the first seven chapters of First Samuel. These are pretty familiar |
| 0:42.5 | stories, but we will maybe focus on a couple of things that we can maybe consider as we |
| 0:51.1 | read this week's curriculum chapters. But I wanted to start with a correction. |

| 1:36.5 | Everybody will resurrect and live forever. |
| 1:41.9 | But I instead spoke the distinction as being between eternal life and everlasting |
| 1:48.0 | life. And that is an error. That's a doctrinal error. So I was really grateful for the brother |
| 1:53.7 | who brought that to my attention. And let me read. He even quoted McConkey in his comment, |
| 1:59.6 | which was great, because that's where we get a very clear definition and distinction. |
| 2:04.9 | So, in fact, if you look up everlasting life in McConkey's Mormon doctrine, |
| 2:11.5 | it says, see, eternal life. |
| 2:13.5 | So the two are equivalent, and that is correct. |
| 2:16.7 | I misspoke. |
