0:10.0	This week, our curriculum is Exodus chapters 19 and 20, 24, and then 31 through 34. So we jump around a little bit,
0:23.2	but these are very familiar stories.
0:31.5	So I'm going to cover a few current events and then jump into a light treatment of what is an iconic story in the Old Testament about, of course, the Ten Commandments and then the Golden Calf episode.
0:38.1	I hope you really enjoyed conference. Again, I'm just a little bit ahead, so I know this is
0:43.8	going to come out a little later, but of course, it was, as usual, a wonderful chance to hear
0:50.8	from our leaders and our new prophet, President Oakes, who was sustained in the
0:56.2	solemn assembly. So a special time for the church. And I really loved something that President
1:03.4	Oaks did. And it was a little on the subtle side. In fact, I missed one of them, but then
1:09.4	somebody dealt with it on their podcast
1:12.6	or something. Anyway, Caitlin said me something. That she keeps me better informed than I would keep
1:16.7	myself. And it was pretty cool. It was when he spoke about kind of a redo of President Nelson's
1:26.2	message to be peacemakers, but his emphasis, or one of his
1:30.2	strong emphases, was that we should love our enemies. And that's such a good time for a message
1:37.2	like that, because it's always a relevant message, but especially now where there is so much
1:42.6	hostility amongst people who should be united.
1:46.6	It's a sense of a country, but, and certainly there is so much antagonism and adversarial stuff going on on social media and in the news and in families, frankly, sometimes.
2:00.4	So he spoke about this very relevant topic, and then some of us noticed that he didn't say
2:08.9	amen at the end of his speech.
2:13.6	And I remember noticing that, but then thinking, like, maybe he said it a different way, because anyway, sometimes I was listening and not watching because I was on Saturday, I was trying to get some things done at the same time as listening.
2:28.9	He ended his speech with these words.
2:32.2	He said, let us seek to be holy like our Savior. In his holy name, the name of Jesus
