I hope you're enjoying these as I am and today is super fun because I'm doing five favorite simple decorating tips. Did you know at one time I wanted to be an interior decorator and in fact

right before my first magazine article was published, I almost went back to school to study interior

design. True story. Well, God had different plans, but I still love to dabble in my house,

and if other people let me, there sometimes too. But let's get right to it, five favorite

decorating tips everyone needs to know.

So my house like yours probably has evolved over the years, but I like eclectic and really a mix of several styles. Mid-century modern, traditional, with some Joanna style thrown in, kind of that little bit of that farmhouse.

Much like my clothes

and my personality too. Really, I like eclectic. I like it in people. I like it in clothes. I like

it in my house. And really, I think that makes for the best living quarters when you style according to

your own flavor. When someone walks into my house and says, this is so you, it makes me smile.

It really does.

So the tips I learned today are honestly super easy, things I picked up along the way, but

there are things I use all the time and universal to every living situation.
