first time years ago, and we've remained friends ever since. He's wise beyond his years,

and what I love about him is his deep commitment to the main thing, Jesus. I want people on this

show with heart that I know and trust, and Adam fits that bill. So please listen in as he truly gets to the

heart of the matter today. The older I get, the harder my heart seems to naturally become.

I'm more guarded towards others, more skeptical of life. Life has a way of

taking the life right out of us, doesn't it? Without Jesus, I can tell that my heart slowly

becomes harder and harder and harder. Looking back to myself in high school, I can often remember

seeing grumpy old men and asking myself the question, when did they become grumpy old men? Like at what point

did they become jaded? How did they become a cynic? How did they let their heart become so hard?

So that's the question I asked myself in high school. Now fast forward a few years to today,

my 36-year-old self often ask a similar but very different question.

The question I asked today is often this, how do I not let my heart grow hardened?

How do I not become a grumpy old man?

How do I not become a skeptical, jaded person with a hard, hard heart?
