I want to give a quick shout out to one of my most faithful Five-Word prayers daily listeners, my father-in-law on his

birthday today. Happy birthday to you, Richard Whittle, one of my favorites. So listen, what does the word

revival mean to you? If you're like me and grew up in the 70s and 80s in the church,

you might think of an actual revival in a white tent or in a church building and a preacher

in a suit is preaching down the house, right? But to be revived is really something that

happens in our spirit, our soul. And I think a lot of us walk around weary and in need of a soul

revival. Let's talk about how that's possible today. Well, today's the last day I'm going to

talk from the book, I Want God. And in the last chapter, I get into this idea of revival. But really,

all throughout the book, I talk about a revival called the Welsh Revival from the early 1900s, where God showed up and

radically moved in Wales. And amazing things happened. And though that was a corporate event in history,

that same God lives inside of us if we're believers in Jesus Christ. That always blows me away.

So we have to believe he then can do in and with us

what he did in and with them back then. Like I say in the book, God may want to do something

around you in your community, in your church, in your neighborhood, in your home, but first

he wants to do something amazing in you. And that makes me excited because I

don't know about you, but so many times I need God to come in and blow through my stale

day-to-day life and do something radical inside of me to help me come back to life. Come back to a place

of vibrancy and awakening and passion for him.

Want to lead other people to Jesus, want to serve, want to minister, want to stand up for him.
