So we've been traveling through I Want God this week and the idea of wanting God the most,

and I thought it might be helpful to give you five resources today that have been a part of my

growth journey with the Lord, five books that I believe increased my desire for God. Some you may know,

some you probably don't, and I hope you'll check them all out. You ready? Well, look, I love to read.

That's no secret, but I don't do as much of it as I used to, and some seasons I read more

than others.

But today I want to tell you quickly five books that have really drawn me to the Lord and

left a lasting mark.

I'll be honest, few books do that for me, so when one does, I am compelled

to share it. Okay, so the first book is called this, Secrets of the Secret Place by Bob Sorg. And by the way,

we'll link all these in the show notes, so you can just go there and go right to them if you want.

This book was actually given to me by my dear friend, Wendy Speak, and when a soul friend

sends you a book, you read it because you know that they really know you and they know what

you like and they know what you need.

Secrets of the Secret Place has been that book for me.

Wendy knows me and she was right on.
