Hi, and welcome to the Five Word Prayers Daily, a five-day-a-week daily devotional where we share the

word, prayers, and our heart. I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me,

which I trust and pray will be five minutes well spent. Today is going to be an intense conversation,

I think. Literally hold on and pray with me, will you? Because there'll be some tough talk.

We're going to dive right into a definite hot topic, talking about sex on the daily today because

we can't shy away from something that is a huge issue in society that affects all of us,

really, in our daily lives in some way. Don't go anywhere. We have a lot to talk about and literally,

God help us. I've told you before I record all my shows in advance so I can keep my sanity

about me really and literally in case I come down with the flu so I don't miss a day with you

for any reason.

So right now as I'm taping this, there's a movie preview that's constantly playing on TV that I am honestly so sick to death of seeing.

Really, it's not even strong enough language for how I feel about this 50 Shades of Grey

movie trailer that is constantly perverting my eyes and my family's eyes with

its filth every time it comes on, which is a lot right now. I don't have to go into describing it.

I'm sure you're familiar with the movie or at least a series. And if you're not, be thankful

because this popular book series is how it started, about a perverted relationship, started from

a perverted mind that created a perverted sexual relationship between these two people,

has gotten into the home and on the nightstands of people, particularly women all over the

world. And now it's been made into movies, which furthers the sick message. And it's really just one

symptom of the battle we're fighting to live a pure sexual life, one that is not only quite

difficult, but I'm not being dramatic when I say, we literally need God to save us from,

not only save us from the world with it, but from ourselves and the messes we can get

...
