I was in the kitchen the other day when my husband came home and he asked my son this question,

And I was shocked because he answered it this way.

Oh, only about 20 minutes, dad.

The reason I was shocked was because I had been home with the boy all day and had actually been about two hours. But I knew that because he was sitting in front

of the game playing, he didn't even realize how much time had passed. And I could relate to that

because far too many times I myself have been scrolling on my phone or something like that. And I would

and an entire hour had passed and I couldn't even believe it. It's just what happens sometimes.

Any of us who are on social media know it's true. Social media can be the biggest time suck in

this world. We can scroll mindlessly for hours. We can be looking at something and then click something else and

wind up on a whole different site, reading something about something completely unrelated to anything

in our life or that we even cared about in the first place. We click on this picture, which leads us to

that picture, and down there's rabbit hole. And you know what I'm talking about. The list goes on and on and on.
