Hey everyone, thank you so much for listening to this fifth year anniversary re-release of our very first

episode. I can't believe it's been five years since we put out this first episode. I don't even know what to

what else to say about it. It's just been an amazing journey that I'm so grateful for.

We would not have made it to five years without you. I said it a little bit last week with

our, uh, our request for, for listener stories. Um, but it's true. We would not have made it this

far. Uh, if you did not listen to the show. If you were not out there,

telling your friends about it, if you were not downloading and listening and sharing about it

and celebrating, you know, what fun it is to play D&D, to tell stories to to hang out with friends to do

all the things um that this show is about so thank you so much for listening for helping us to

get to this milestone it's just unbelievable i've been trying i've been thinking about it for

weeks now.

And I've had a hard time, honestly, a truly, truly difficult time articulating what it means to me that I've been able to tell this story for five years.

To tell any story for five years.

To tell any story in this depth, in this kind of way that people listen to and and care about. It's honestly something, you know, when we started the show, when I, when I

started the show, honestly, six plus years ago when it came about, when the idea came about,

when it became something that was going to be real,

I wasn't sure if I would get to tell any stories to an audience, you know, any of my

original stories. I was feeling like, you know, the industry, you know, there were a lot of

roadblocks and gatekeeping and, you know, anyone industry, you know, there were a lot of roadblocks and gatekeeping and,

you know, anyone who's a creative, I'm sure, relate to the frustrations that we have

at different points in our creative journeys and our careers.

And when this show started, it was really a way to just tell a story.
