D&D is five years old.

I can't believe it.

The first episode was released June 11, 2018.

It was 57 minutes long and featured clips recorded while I was still cooking dinner, and it introduced us to the characters we would follow for over 200 hours of goofy adventure as filtered through my kitchen and the incredible minds of my amazing players.

Next week, we'll be re-releasing that very first episode, and you'll hear more from me as I look

back on the beginning of a story that has meant so much to me for the last five years.

Five plus years.

We started recording in 2017, so really over six years, it's just unbelievable.

But there is an essential ingredient that we haven't talked about yet.

You.

Without you, we would not be making this show.

It seems obvious, but there's so much weight to that statement, I can't even begin

to fully explain it. This show exists because we love it and we want to tell this story,

but it continues to exist. It made it to five years and beyond because you listen to it and

keep listening to it. You're as vital to its history as

the six of us. And that's why I want to hear from you on this anniversary. You've heard me talk

about the show and what it means to me a hundred times over, but what about what the show

means to you and your fellow

listeners? Has the show introduced you to D&D and now you play with your own team? Were you a

long time player going back to the days of Thaco, but we helped bring you into 5E? Do you make a meal
