I'm Hey everyone, Gressel here.

Thank you for bringing this show to five incredible years.

For the last couple weeks, I've tried to express what the show means to me,

but today we're doing something a little different.

Today we're going to listen to what the show has meant to some of you, the listeners.

To be honest, I wasn't sure how this would go. I wasn't sure anyone would submit anything or that

we'd get enough for an episode, but as you can see from the runtime, those fears were

massively unfounded. As I listened to each submission and vibrated with the intensity

of gratitude and humility I felt, I was sometimes embarrassed. Is this self-congratulatory to

put out an episode like this?

But listening to your stories, I realized why I want to share them, and it goes back five years to when I first released the show.

Because I almost didn't.

Fear and anxiety and self-doubt encased this show and kept it on a shelf for a year and almost forever.

But thanks to Joel and James and Beth and Mike and Chelsea, I did release it.

And five years later, the stories that make up the next hour and all of you listening show the impact that sharing art

and creativity and joy can have. I want to share your stories as a way to say, make your thing,

no matter what it is. Run your game for your friends or write your book or shoot your short

or start your business or do something fun with your partner or write your book or shoot your short or start your business or do

something fun with your partner or cook a nice meal for someone you care about.

These stories prove to me that when we create from a place of joy, the world gets better.

My life is immeasurably better because of this show and because of you.
