Hello listeners, it has been a while.

Almost exactly a year since I posted a recording of the most terrifying conversation of my entire

life to you.

Simultaneously with Sam Harris, who also posted my terrifying conversation to his listeners.

This was my interview with MIT Evolutionary Engineer, Kevin S. Felt, about a stupifiably dangerous

and misguided US government research program, which posed an awful threat to the lives of

an incalculable number of people.

Like literally, luckily that episode seems to have had a very positive impact on things,

but I still recommend hearing it if you haven't, because the broader danger is not going

away.

It's the prior episode in my feed if you're interested, but think twice if you're prone

to insomnia.

Anyway, the reason for the long subsequent silence is that I do have a day job, and it's

a very busy job as a venture capitalist.

Primarily investing in startups that my partner and I believe could make the world more resilient

in some important way.

Are investing categories include climate, pandemic resilience?

I'm sure that one won't surprise any of you.

Food security, for instance, alternate proteins, like cell-based and mycelium-based meats,

and energy security, such as a nuclear fusion investment, believe it or not.
