We want to share with you a conversation that I had several years ago with Angel Deg and Becky Morland about their story of Becky starting a great ministry, which you're going to hear about,

and really saving Angel angels life by sharing the

love of Jesus with her. And this story touches on human trafficking and prostitution and other things

that are happening all around us and offers hope and offers perspective and how one person

can make a difference in so many lives. So get your coffee and sit back and enjoy the show.

Becky, I love the ministry that you have in a little town, Akron, Ohio, where I'm from,

and the ministry's called Rehab House, right?

Rehab Ministries, yes.

And how long ago did it start?

It's been about 12 and a half years now since it began.

Yeah. And how would you describe it? I mean, everybody has like kind of their little elevator speech. This is what we do.

Okay, this is what we do. Here it is. 12 years ago, I started by walking the streets of Akron, talking to the women that were out there. And that's where we were guided towards,

just trying to meet them where they're at. And when you say walking the streets of

Akron, we're not talking about people window shopping. You got it. We are more or less in the

hood in the areas that you would find most of the crime and women that might be caught up in

solicitation, drugs, alcohol. Those are the areas that we

walked. And we started with that. We started small, and we just continually followed what the

leading of the Lord would be. And from there, we grew over the years to going into some of the

correctional facilities and bringing Bible studies into them.

And we also opened up a ministry center in the area of where the women walk so that they're able to come to us now for programming.

Now, a lot of people would say, wow, that's a great ministry, but I would never do that.
