Summary

This week I'm joined by Annie Lawless, founder of LAWLESS beauty. Annie is a wellness pioneer who has been trailblazing the industry since co-founding one of the largest cold-pressed juice companies Suja juice. Then, after years of suffering from a multitude of symptoms and being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Annie recognized the direct correlation between what you put in and on your body to how you look, and, most importantly, how you feel. Annie has been named a New York Times Best-Selling Author and parlayed her expertise to launching her newest endeavor, LAWLESS Beauty in 2018. Listen for her INSPIRING story and her honest tips and advice for young women!

Welcome back to mood with Lauren Elizabeth. I'm Lauren Elizabeth still in

0:04.7

Chicago and still balancing of million moods. This week I'm going to be joined by

0:10.2

Annie Lawless as a makeup girl who loves clean living. Annie found it really

0:14.5

hard for herself and her online audience to find pigmented full coverage makeup

0:19.0

that was clean. Okay. I've been using this makeup forever. Lawless beauty was

0:23.5

created to provide beauty products that are always free of ingredients that

harm your skin. You guys know I struggle with acne. We get into the best

0:30.3

conversation about just what it's like being a woman starting a business

0:34.0

really just no BS talking about why she created her brand how she grew it and

0:38.7

just she is such an amazing person. I had the absolute best time chatting with

0:43.4

her. I really really am excited for you guys to listen to this week's current

0:46.5

mood combo. But first let's jump into best mood and worst mood of the week. My

0:51.7

best mood this week was just getting settled and relaxing. I really got my

0:57.0

screen time down to 23 minutes on my phone and I'll tell you how I did it and

1:02.1

it's actually not that hard because in reality we live in 2020 there's like

1:06.9

other devices. Okay. So obviously I wasn't just only looking at a screen for 23

1:11.6

minutes. That was the average. The thing that I did differently was for some

1:15.3

reason. I just wasn't enticed by Instagram at all this week. I realized that it

1:19.7

was giving me stress and there was really nothing new to see. I feel like

1:23.1

maybe it has something to do with the fact that I'm two hours ahead on time

1:26.9

zones now. So like my friends aren't even awake at the same time. So it cuts out

1:30.6

two hours in the morning, cuts out two hours at night. I'm not really sure. But
