Summary
Its the most wonderful time of the year, right? So why have I been feeling so low?
A couple weeks ago my depression came on, and it came on strong. There were a few things that seemed to be the catalyst for it, but regardless of why its here, in todays episode I want to share with you what I am doing to manage through it.
I have 8 tips that I have been deploying during this season that help me make sure I am taking care of me and not adding to the list of reasons my brain has for not being good enough.
I do want to make it clear, I am not a medical professional and this isn’t medial advice. If you are experiencing depression (or any other mental illness) I encourage you to reach out to your doctor, or a therapist, and get help. You don’t have to white knuckle it through alone. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it makes you STRONGER THAN MOST.
Also, if your emotions and mental health are not in a space where it can handle a discussion about depression, please protect your peace and table this episode for a time when your brain is feeing more open to this.
Lastly, you are loved. You are good. You are absolutely here on purpose. You will get through this. And I love you so much.
See you inside💥
