Summary
As we grow, comfort zones and requests grow and change with us. Change is hard. Our brains don’t like it, and the people who are effected by us changing can often struggle with how it impacts them.
As we begin to prioritize ourselves and insource our lives, we might need to pull out of commitments we once were all in on, or set a boundary that had never been enforced before, or create discomfort for people we care about as a result of prioritizing you.
And this feels HARD. But, hard doesn’t mean we’re doing it wrong. As we journey inwards, hard often means we’re finally doing it right… we’re dealing with the right kind of hard.
In todays episode I share what holding space looks like, and why it is such an important piece of growth. Space for you, and space for those around you.
We can’t all think the exact same, nor would we want to. But if we’re not careful, these differences can lead to frustration and resentment… which is never something I’m going to sign up for.
Join me as we walk through the mind a bit on what it means to hold space for change, for other people’s experiences of our change, and for ourselves as we learn and unlearn who we want to be.
See you inside💥
